What RefHand is not
RefHand is an unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the IHF or any national handball federation. The rules module is unofficial study material and does not replace the official rules or official refereeing training. Always consult the rules currently in force in your own federation.
The questions in the rules module were written from the published Official Handball Rules and each one cites the article it rests on, so you can check them. They are a study aid, nothing more. A refereeing decision is yours and your federation's, never this app's.
Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on the devices associated with your Apple Account, under Apple's standard terms for licensed applications. The app and its content remain ours.
Subscription
RefHand is free to use for refereeing a game. RefHand PRO is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited history, the PDF report, statistics, the Apple Watch app, the full question bank and iCloud sync.
- Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current period running.
- Any free trial ends when the subscription begins. If you cancel before it ends you are not charged.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Requests go through Apple's support.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, its text and its question bank belong to Güije Studios. IHF's rules are IHF's; short quotations are used to identify the source of each question and imply no endorsement.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it is free of defects or that it will suit a particular competition's requirements.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions taken during a game, for the outcome of an examination, for reports rejected by a competition, or for data lost through device failure. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Governing law
Spanish law applies. Where you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
