WaterFast is an application developed and operated by Güije Studios ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how your data is handled when you use the app.
No data is collected by Güije Studios. We do not store, read or sell your fasting or hydration data. Everything stays on your iPhone, your Apple Watch and, if you enable it, Apple Health.
Güije Studios operates no servers of its own and no cloud database. There is no account in our systems because we have no systems that store your information. Everything the app does happens on your devices.
Your fasting sessions, hydration logs and preferences are stored locally on your iPhone via SwiftData. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.
With your permission, WaterFast saves completed fasts (as mindful sessions) and water intake to Apple Health. HealthKit data is never used for advertising and never leaves your device except through Apple Health's own sync, which you control in iOS Settings.
The fast timer and hydration are synchronized between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework, between your own devices only.
Purchases are handled entirely through Apple (StoreKit 2 / App Store). Güije Studios does not receive, process or store card or banking data. Apple shares only your subscription status with the app.
We do not sell or share your data; we show no ads; we run no third-party analytics or advertising trackers; we keep no copy of your fasts.
WaterFast is not directed to children under 13.
