Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-08-16
The short version. DroneCert collects no personal data at all. There is no account, no email, no analytics and no third-party SDK. Everything you do stays on your device. We have no server, so there is nothing on our side to lose, sell or hand over.
What data we process
None. The app does not ask for your name, your email address or any identifier, and it has no way to send anything to us because it makes no network requests except to Apple's App Store.
Your study progress — which questions you have answered, your mock exam results, your review schedule — is stored on your own device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We cannot read it.
Optional iCloud sync
If you turn on sync in Settings, your progress is copied to your own private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit, so it appears on your other devices. This is your Apple account, not ours. We have no access to it, no credentials for it, and no way to enumerate who uses it. Turning sync off stops the copying; deleting the app removes the local copy.
Purchases
The one-off unlock is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details, your name or your address. We receive only aggregate sales figures from Apple, which do not identify anyone.
Notifications
Reminders are optional and local: they are scheduled on your device. There is no push notification service, no device token and no server. If you never enable them, no permission is requested.
Third parties
There are none. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no attribution, no embedded web views. The app bundles no third-party code at all.
This website
These pages set no cookies, load no external fonts or scripts, and embed nothing from other domains. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs containing IP addresses for security and troubleshooting; we do not use them to profile anyone.
Your rights under the GDPR
The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection over personal data held about you.
We hold none, so in practice there is nothing for us to give you or delete. You can nonetheless exercise the substance of these rights yourself at any time: Settings → Your data → Export my progress gives you everything the app holds, as a readable JSON file, and Reset all progress deletes it. If you have enabled iCloud sync, deleting the app's data in your Apple ID settings removes the synced copy.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Children
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Because the app collects nothing, any change that introduced data collection would require an app update, and we would say so plainly in the release notes.
